It was a gusty, extremely damp morning and I was not enthusiastic at all today, but I know from experience that not long into the walk, you get over the weather! Halfway in, the rain stopped and it truly felt like Spring again...
The beauty of our walks is the fact that you can run things by your 'walk buddy'. Anything, I mean anything, gets discussed! We talk about our plans for the day, our week, our lives! Yes, it gets deep sometimes... but it's mostly recipes, Helen's latest project or what I've been up to in the salon. Whatever the subject, we manage to talk the whole walk! And that's definitely the therapy bit for us...
We were short on subject matter photo wise today at the beginning with the weather conditions but when it cheered up we focussed on flowers to show how vibrant they look on a dull old day... We also looked at the allotments, with their beds being prepared for sowing and walked back through Collett Park, where the daffodils are still going strong and the magnolia flowers are out...
