SHORT WALK

Today's walk was shorter than usual - we both had appointments to go to. However, that didn't stop us talking loads, seeing some sights and getting some fresh air and exercise.  Even a short walk has its benefits! On our estate many of the houses don't have much in the way of front gardens but this resident proves that this is no barrier to having a beautiful flowery entrance. 

Or further in town I saw a colourful miniature garden in a window box!  Back on our estate, these home owners have made the most of their front garden with these magnificent architectural Yuccas with their dramatic cream flowers.

Even though we are in a residential estate in a town, we have some farm animals on our doorstep.  Across the main road are these horned cattle, and right in the middle of the housing, is a field of sheep.  I managed to get a photo of one with a beautiful face and a great set of horns!
