START THE JOURNEY
Welcome to the first post on Jenny and Helen’s new blog - WALK the TALK. Jenny is a blogging virgin, but I have had a mixed media blog for several years now and love the opportunity to share ideas and observations. To start our walks, I go down the road about 100 yards to Skin and Tonic. This is Jenny’s business and home and our starting point. We set out at 7 am, whatever the weather, and try not to miss, even if one of us has been on the wine the night before and doesn’t feel like getting up! We aim to walk three times a week and wear suitable walking clothes with walking boots and waterproofs, when necessary. After each walk, one of us, will be posting thoughts and photographs so this blog will be, in effect, a diary of our adventures, reflecting the change of seasons and what is happening in and around our hometown of Shepton Mallet in Somerset. We have no idea where this blog will lead us, but we want to have fun and hope that you will join us on our journey!
